about

Again I wanted to try something different: Working with hardware as source of the sounds only, like nearly 14 years ago on “Linear” but this time with more equipment and the comfort of a digital workstation. In the end some sound from softsynths remained in the tracks because I didn’t manage to replace them properly. Some instruments had a certain role in the tracks. The JV1010 was always used for drums, the 01/W for pads and so on. The album deals with different moons throughout the solar system.

Equipment: Korg 01/W Korg Poly 800 Korg Monotron Roland JV1010 Waldorf Microwave Waldorf microQ Yamaha FS1R Ensoniq EPS 16+ Epiphone SG G-400 BR Rouge Acoustic L6 Softsynths
